Continuing Professional Education Policy
The 23rd Biennial Forum of Government Auditors offers participants 16 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for full attendance at the virtual forum. There are no prerequisites and no advanced preparation required. The meeting was designed with the intention of adhering to the 2018 revision of the Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) (GAO 18-568G). Ultimate responsibility for determining whether CPEs qualify for credit rests with the individual or employing organizations.
A three digit alpha numeric code will be provided to attendees of the virtual forum at the end of each session. Agencies may contact NIAF to verify the codes for an attendee.
A downloadable CPE form is available after completion of the electronic evaluation for the event. The link to the survey will be emailed to all participants at the end of the virtual forum. The password will be sent via email on July 30.
