Municipalities have many responsibilities and often limited resources to balance across the many priorities facing local governments. To a small city or town, cybersecurity can present a daunting challenge. Daily, state and local municipalities’ infrastructure is attacked by malicious actors who continue to adjust their ransomware attacks. Municipalities face increasing pressure to protect sensitive data and prevent attacks on critical infrastructure including election security to water treatment plants.

What are municipalities to do? Panelists in this webinar will discuss the cyber threats municipalities face, especially ransomware, and offer some suggestions on mitigation steps and how to implement them.

At the end of the session, attendees will have an understanding about ransomware impacts and resources, and actions municipalities can take to build resiliency in its cybersecurity infrastructure.
