The Intergovernmental Audit Forums (IAF) are comprised of the National Intergovernmental Audit Forum (NIAF) and 10 regional intergovernmental audit forums. The organization consists of audit executives from federal, state, and local governments and it exists to improve coordination, communication, and cooperation among members, private sector firms, and other accountability organizations worldwide.
